Almost everybody want a light skin believing it will make them look good. Truth be told, light skin makes you beautiful but using bleaching cream without knowing the side effects is the beginning of your skin destruction. The rate at which people are using bleach cream in this modern world is quite alarming. They believe that bleach cream is part of fashion. But am going to open your eye to see what bleach cream can do to your skin within short period of time. Before we go into that, let us look at the powerful content used in producing bleach creams.
One of the powerful content is 'Hydroquinone'. If you have not heard of hydroquinone before then go and check the body of the bleach cream container (am sure you must have seen it). But come to think of it, why is it that hydroquinone is a common content in all the bleach cream in the world? Hydroquinone is a very toxic agent in bleach cream and it has side effects on the skin which i will explain later in this post.
Another powerful content is Mercury. It has the same side effect with hydroquinone. I am very sure it won't be hard to identify a bleach cream with all the explanation above, just go and look at the content of the cream and if you find hydroquinone, mercury, topical retinoid, botanicals etc, then you should know that it is a bleach cream. Let us look at the advantages of using bleach creams;
The most notable advantage of bleach cream is that it makes your face white,clean and attractive that is why most of the ladies or women usually use bleach cream to look attractive.It helps in cleaning blackspot formed on the skin. Having blackspot on the skin is one of most irritating things. It makes the skin look bad, so bleach cream can help to clear the spot.

As I mentioned to you earlier,the basic agent used in bleach cream is hydroquinone which is very dangerous for human skin and it can cause skin cancer (I know you know what that implies). To show how powerful this bleach agent is, it is use for removing tattoos.
Another bleach cream agent which I discussed earlier in this post, mercury. I said it has common side effects with hydroquinone. It also cause skin cancer especially when the skin is exposed sunlight soon after using the bleach cream. Excessive use of bleach cream will cause acne and pimples on the face so it is advisable to use bleach cream occasionally. Excessive use of bleach cream also makes the skin very soft and thin thereby leading to the skin tearing apart which is referred to as stretchmark. Stretch marks makes the skin look ugly and more open to injury.
As you all know that the skin of the face is soft, so it is not advisable to bleach the face regularly as it would cause an infection. It is advisable to use bleach cream only once in a while. After applying bleach cream, don't expose yourself to sunlight for at least one hour. After bleaching your skin, you will notice that your skin gets dry, this is because of the presence of topical retinoid in the bleach cream, so it is advisable to use moisturizing lotion after using bleach cream to avoid any side effects.
